E46 M3 CSL EcuTool
Everything is provided except the laptop and cable.
We provide the software you need to perform the CSL SMG firmware modifications. To get started, you only need a compatible Windows laptop and a USB K+Dcan cable.
A Windows 10 or newer laptop with administrator privileges and at least 4GB of RAM.

A USB K+Dcan diagnostic cable compatible with your BMW is required to communicate with the vehicle.

Use a laptop you control.
Work-issued laptops are not a good choice. Use a computer where you have administrator privileges and can install and run the required software without corporate restrictions.
AntiBreak K+Dcan USB OBD Cable
We recommend a K+Dcan cable with a switch integrated into the cable head. The switched AntiBreak cable linked here is the model currently referenced on the requirements page and allows communication with older and newer BMW vehicles.
Before you begin
Have a Windows 10+ laptop with 4GB+ RAM, administrator privileges, one free USB port, and a compatible USB K+Dcan cable ready. The EcuTool software is provided separately through your account access.
